In 2026, the Oddworld returns to home soil, with OCEAN GROVE today announcing their Oddworld Underground Tour this August, joined by special guests CANE HILL (USA), who will return to Australia for the first time in a decade this year.
An eclectic trio of misfits spawning from Melbourne, OCEAN GROVE have rapidly transcended into a global phenomenon, helmed by inventive thinking and staggering creativity that transcends definitions and defies musical norms. Merging nu metal, hardcore and alternative rock into their signature sound, aka Oddworld Music, OCEAN GROVE's influences span Korn, N.E.R.D, Faith No More and beyond, ultimately delivering an unforgettable sonic experience that is equally visceral and thought-provoking.
From the 2017 release of their ground-breaking debut album The Rhapsody Tapes through to their most recent full-length, 2024's ODDWORLD, OCEAN GROVE have captured critical acclaim, chart success, millions of streams and furthered their world domination at every turn, with fans also relentlessly flocking to witness the group's high energy performances in person. Most recently winning Most Performed Hard Rock / Heavy Metal Work at the 2026 APRA Music Awards for their single RAINDROP, OCEAN GROVE also toured across the UK and Europe in 2025 supporting Thornhill, with 2026 ticking off direct national support in January for Poppy's Australian tour, directly supporting Thornhill's biggest headline Australian run to date in February, and also touring across the UK and Europe supporting Poppy in March and April. With Blunt Magazine praising of their 2025 Melbourne headline performance "the Oddworld is more alive than ever", OCEAN GROVE are primed and ready to unleash the Oddworld once again in a headline setting for Australian fans this year.
New Orleans metalcore act CANE HILL inject towering riffs, soaring melodies and raw heaviness into their unique and compelling sonic DNA. Drawing from metal, alternative and grunge hues, the group seamlessly straddle vulnerability with brutality, lacing their sound with themes of identity, addiction and self-destruction. With three full-length albums in their wake, spanning 2016's Smile, 2018's Too Far Gone and 2024's A Piece of Me I Never Let You Find, CANE HILL remain in constant pursuit of pushing themselves into darker and more experimental territory; a fact seen most vividly on full display with their gripping live performance that has seen them tour alongside The Plot In You, Sevendust, Killswitch Engage and many more. In 2026, the band will also mark their first Australian tour since 2016, supporting Bullet For My Valentine nationally almost a decade ago.
