Once known as Rag 'n' Bone, this Perth four-piece has been an electrifying whirlwind in our city's music scene. With enthralling vocals, brooding basslines, serrated guitars, and high-energy drumming, their sound is dark, intense, and truly unique. Over the years, they've crossed the boundaries of post-punk, political rock, and alt-folk, echoing the influences of Savages, Sonic Youth, and The Drones.
As we gather in the Batcave for our grand finale, let us pay homage to their dark and mesmerizing intensity, for this night marks the last performance of NEW TALK. It's a moment to witness, to be enraptured, and to bid farewell to a band that has left an indelible mark on our city's music history.
